Fuel line that stays on a td fuel niibble
I have been using the small blue Sullivan tubing for bladders for a ling time, but an always frustrated that they blow off the nipple on the needle valve.
Note, I remove the tubing from the nva to fill the bladder. If this was a hard tank I would just wire it on.
Any ideas?

Sullivan has just come out with a new fuel tubing that can be used with glow, gas and diesel. I just started using it and have had good luck with it staying attached to engines. The only con is that it is a little pricey.

I also noted that issue with the relatively short nipple on the TD carb...I pull a short silicon tube on the end of the fuel line over the nipple and this helps keep the line in place...I understand Roddie is using metal sleeves over the fuel line end over the nipple..

Yes.. it's a compression-sleeve of the same concept, giving the fuel-line more grip on a nipple. A short metal-tube sleeve placed over the end of the fuel-line.. lessens the expansion, when connected to the nipple.
Better to have permanent connections throughout. There are one-way valves for bladder-filling.. rather than pulling the line from the NVA every time.. which would cause the line to fit gradually-looser.
Here's a photo-example of this applied to a Babe Bee's tank back-plate..
Use some petroleum-jelly to help slide the sleeve over the silicone fuel-line. A snug-fit is preferred.
Connect the fuel-line on the nipple followed by sliding the metal tube-sleeve all the way over it. Don't force it.. the petroleum-jelly lubricates the line to allow the sleeve to push-on easily without kinking or binding.

I use a 1/16" black latex tubing from Mcmaster Carr. It pinches very easy and it fits tiny barbs. The more oil on the barb the better it seems to hold. It does break down if left to sit but daily use doesn't allow it to get all gooey and sticky. I use it exclusively for bladder use. Unfortunately, I can't recall the stock number but I believe I have it on the bag it came in. I need more of it and it's excellent stuff. Ken
