Cox/Sanwa 8214 27 MHz radio system
I have a GTP coming in the mail and the seller says the reciever or the servos have to be replaced due to corrosion. Does any one have any of the radio parts I need or any suggestions. I would like servos that will fit the existing servo mounts and would like the car to be as OEM as possible. Would Bernies Cox Icon RC CS 6 Micro Flight Servo's be a match? Cox Cadets do come up for sale on Ebay. Would this also be a good match?

My Sidewinder had corrossion too when I bought it.
But it was possibly to clean it and it works fine again.
Maybe you should wait until you receive it and take a look over it.

I may be able to clean it up. I'm just trying to get a jump start on a back up plan. I would like to keep it as OEM as possible, but will do what I have to do get it running.

I have a GTP "Servo Group" at the office (basically the servo tray) and will check on Monday to see if our Cox servos fit.

I have a couple of Cox cadet radio systems, with servos... let me know what you end up needing, I have new in the box aircraft 2ch systems, but also have some spare servos, and used transmitter/receivers...
