Re: needle valve
Is this the OS MAX-S .10? I can tell you from years of experience using the Enya 3303 that it will work, but it will suffer some problems. The Enya 3304 had a slightly larger head, it also has no web casting obstructing the exhaust. The 3303 tends to overheat badly. The stock muffler is the worst thing to use on this engine as it will overheat the engine to the point it will be smoking when it lands regardless of how rich you set it off. The 3303 thermically advances and it doesn't want to return. Mainly due to the extremely thick cylinder liner. The 3303 came with two venturi sizes and the larger works far better. This engine likes to wind up and most try and use a 8x4. It doesn't tolerate large props well and the Master Airscrew 7x6's and 7x4's work far superior. These would be the narrow bladed versions and not the wider ones. Everything you buy now will be the newer and thinner GF series Master Airscrews which are the correct size. However, the Enya has a metric hole so using the proper reamer is a must. Many times I can use the standard Fox reamer and come through the rear but I don't break through all the way which works well.

Re: needle valve
What it looks to me is that you have the FSR .10. That's a pretty hot little .10. It was the model prior to the FP. Most of the FSR's that were larger were ball bearing. I believe that may just be a plain bearing. Nonetheless, a good engine. Here is the problem, the FSR and the FP .10 shared the same control line needle valve. These were an excellent needle. They're just non existent. No one has them and those that do aren't giving them up. I can provide you a picture of one as my .10 has one. They're that highly desired . My recommendation would be to seek the OS FP -LA .15 needle. If you know a machinist, you can turn the spray bar down slightly in the venturi area. This can crudely be done carefully in a drill press using a file and sandpaper to really smooth it up. The OS spraybar has plating on it and your going to break through it. You could also try and use it as it which may require the case hole to be slightly opened up in order for it to fit. As for venturi, I can't comment. It may just be the same as the FP engines. If you have the stock r/c carb, you could contact Jim Lee
