I was looking for a way to display my Cox engine collection and saw some clear plastic engine display stands on a youtube video. I thought they were perfect to display engines so I decided to make a couple to see how they look and function. I am using 3/32" bendable polycarb from McMaster Carr. I cut them out on a shear and then bent the shape on a break. I found a online store that sells clear inkjet labels by the sheet so I bought 1" round and 1" X 1.5" square lables to create the Cox and description stickers.

I made 2 different stands. One has the Cox label on top and the other has the label on the bottom just above the description.

Maybe the Cox logo could be bigger. I'm not by any means artistic so it looks proportional to the stand. If the logo is too big it may take the spotlight instead of the engine.

Now to make stands for the beam mount engines. Not sure who own the rights to the Small Cox Logo logo so I hope I don't get in trouble by using it.

They look nice! I seen people selling stands like these on eBay a few years back, I think they were getting $10-15 each!

Nice!

For beam mounts just take the top section reduce it by half then attach it horizontal and cut out a notch.

That is the plan. I have to find a way to notch it out without it looking like rat chewed it out. A 3 axis CNC would be the ticket.
