Tricked-Out .049's on the .049 Collectors Group
Hope it's OK to post this here, as I have seen references to other forums.
If you guys would like to check out some new photos of some REALLY Tricked-Out Cox Engines, take a look at Mr. Leo Squires' Custom Masterpiece over on the .049 Collectors Group on Yahoo !!!!
Something to think about as you eye those spare cases and parts from Bernie and Matt !!!!!!

Here's a link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/049Collectors/photos/album/1068087340/pic/list?mode=tn&order=ordinal&start=1&count=20&dir=asc
You might want to check out the photo files of the Space Bug, RR-1, Strato Bug, Babe Bee I've added alot of info the last year or so.
Also there's photo files for every RTF airplane Cox ever made.

It's fine if you post links to other forums and whatever. Those are some really neat engines!
sweet engines
That just makes me curious of the prices, and of course even more curious about the 020`s he made, and if he will in fact make more?

DANGEROU$ ENIGNE$ !!!! With the emphasis on $$$$ !
Once you've joined, go to I believe, the "Links" section. Somewhere over there resides complete instructions on anodizing aluminum parts I ain't gonna pursue it (one more piece of support equipment may push the walls out of my tiny shop!!), but it's very informative for those of us with little or no knowledge of the process.

Cox
Leo had engines for sale a while back and all were beauties. He sold them on ebay and made special boxes for them. Quite nice to say the least. All done with hand tools/ amazing.
