Hi Everyone

I was the lucky draw winner of the Pee Wee .020 in the Reed speed competition of 2014. After 3 months of waiting because of the terrible post service in South Africa, I finally received my package from Ron. I am so excited!!

Here is a pic of my new engine:

I would like to thank Jim and Ron and all the rest of you guys from the forum for making these events possible and also the sponsors for the prizes.

Ron also sent me a few extra goodies. When I opened the package I was pleasantly suprised and really happy.

This is everything:

Ron, thank you very much for everything. You are a great guy, and it is because of guys like you that cox and control line is still going forward.

Thanks to everyone on the forum.

Nice one to everyone involved. A few years ago almost everything I posted to my family in South Africa would go missing once it arrived there. No amount of insurance or tracking would dissuade the thieves. Once my mother in law even received a note saying our parcel had arrived and that she should go to the post office to collect it. It was gone by the time she got there later that day. Recently my mum posted a parcel from South
Africa to my sister over here. By the time it arrived none of the gifts were left in the parcel and all my sister got was a Christmas Card which itself had been opened, presumably to check for money. When my mum complained to the South African post office they told her that they suspect the Royal Mail staff in England must have stolen the goods.

lol!

Long story short, in my personal experience that Pee Wee is damn lucky to have made it to South Africa. I know it's not all doom and gloom down there but certain aspects of the place really make their mark. Enjoy your engine!

Thanks Guys

Yes it is not all doom and gloom.

Yes now I need to build a small plane for the Pee Wee. I have never run anything smaller than a 049. So this will be interesting.
