Wanted Holland Hornet .049 Tank

I'm looking for the tank that bolts to the back of the Holland Hornet .049 I bought for Ron in this thread.

Duke,

I have a couple tanks, but they are straight CL tanks and not FF timer tanks. If that would help you I can throw one in, no charge.

Keep in mind that Atwood tanks are interchangeable.

yep, its the other way that doesn't work, the Wasp tank has a flat spot to clear the cylinder, the Hornet tank doesn't.

I just got my latest Holland engine purchase ready for prime time. What I'm going to mount it on is yet to be built.

It took a two week soak in RemOil to loosen the stuck crank and piston as I did not want to subject it to the extreme measures (soaking in hot Simple Green) that I use on other engines. Something about these Holland's that gather for me at least, a little more respect

Is that a venturi insert I see there? I don't know much about Holland's. Are/were there alternate size venturis that originally came with the engine?

Yes, but a couple of my other Hollands do not have that insert.

There was some discussion about this some time ago in another thread.

there was only one size insert, you'd run pressure without insert.

They are wonderful engines, very pleasing to the eye in my opinion. I have run one on a bench and it turns up well. I think they are built very well and are quite robust even though slightly heavy.

The rods are a little weak so keep the revs in check.
