My plane for the Travelling Engine III
Since I didn't have anything on hand that a Cox Medallion .15 would go in, I threw together a SIG Akromaster for the T.E. III making the rounds. Back in November, I bought an Akromaster when SIG was having their Black Friday sale to put a Thunder Tiger GP10 CL engine into. I just built it for the Medallion instead and I'll toss the TT .10 into something else.
I did a basic color scheme to use up some of the Monokote I have on hand. I might go back later and put dual cockpits on it and put a star and "U.S. ARMY" on the wings, but for now I'm calling it done. It'll use the fuel tank from a crashed Flite Streak ARF, which is about 2 ounces, I believe. I'll test fly it with the Medallion and Cox 8x4 prop I have, and then set it aside for when the TE III shows up.

Re: My plane for the Travelling Engine III
That looks great. That should put the TE III through the paces.
Jacob will be putting the TE III signup up soon. I’m waiting for a few parts to show up yet. Need to blue the engine test stand I built for the Medallion. I will be posting more details soon in a new thread.

Oh yeah, you should see the test stand I have waiting for the TE3.
Seriously Mark, you "threw together" a beaut of an aircraft.
