JM Glascraft Micro Shark TD .010 Flight Video!
As promised. No footage of the 1st flight that occured last week. It had severe trim and control issues and was a real handful the first time out. Had better luck with it yesterday after some tweaking. Still in the flight test/adjustment stages but it sure was exciting to fly!

Nice videos!
It does look like a handful. Good piloting skills. Hard to tell from the video, but you may be able to lean it out just a touch.

Re: JM Glascraft Micro Shark TD .010 Flight Video!
Thanks! Yep, it was a tad rich but that helped keep the speeds down during these challenging trimout sessions. I'm considering adding some plastic aileron extension tabs, as ugly as they would be, to help with roll control authority. When I first flew the plane last week, the CG was too far aft, it had too much elevator throw, and less aileron throw than it does now. It was a frightening experience just keeping it in the air while the engine ran like a champ.
It's now balanced well, the elevator is sorted, but there just isn't enough aileron authority even at full throw(mechanically limited torque rods) to feel comfy with it yet.

pretty cool, great looking flying field, where is that at?
Re: JM Glascraft Micro Shark TD .010 Flight Video!
That's my local club field. The Brazoria County Modelers Assn in Oyster Creek, TX. Best conditions are early in the morning. It's near the beach, so the winds are often a problem. Sunrise flights are best. We have a 600ft paved runway for the big stuff, a shorter Geotex crosswind strip, and plenty of grass for the handlaunched models. It's best to land inside the property fence as it is surrounded by thick Salt Grass brush that is home to thousands of rattlesnakes! Many a downed plane has been left out there. Only the bravest dare to venture into that area.
