Wow, Loopy aerials with the high wing Quaker, paraplanes, etc. Love the pictures. Thanks Kim.

Kim I see it flew far enough to make it to the tree line was the operator able
to get some laps with it before it went down, did it seem to have enough wing
for the weight?
I imagine elevator was too touchy full moving stab requires very little movement to motivate.
The wing needs a carbon tube at the CG to stabilize otherwise the whole plastic panel will flex
when ailerons are applied. One more behind that at the aileron hinge line up to the ailerons.
That will work for slow flying if it gets going too fast the camber in conjunction with the exposed
boom tubes will cause bad air flow. Foam filled and sanded in airfoil with some yellow shrink film
over the foam would do some good.

Yeah, Tony has video of the actual attempt. This was the first try, and appeared to be a twist at launch, that pointed it toward the trees. There was PLENTY of power-to-weight, climbing almost vertically, but the PT went so unstable that it was in the trees almost immediately.
There were subsequent attempts farther away from the trees, but the plane looked to be so squirrelly that it never got to level flight.

High points for imagination and innovation.
Didn't see an antenna. Electronics packed in the fuse. Looks like the two fellas flying it had belly pack chutes. Anticipation I would think.

Whoa, little common prop torque to the left with the large elect prop. I think it would have a chance
to trim out had it not been for the trees. Ahh bugger that but cool factor 10!
Thank you for sharing
