Signs....... Empty Signs.......

Look at the six pretty new signs the local school put up....

What these people fail to realize, is, that restarting your engine puts out much, much more emissions than leaving it idling for 45 seconds while your child gets in the car. Besides that, it's plain obnoxious. Smile This school is right by a major highway, and an interstate.

When I was a kid, we didn't have much in the way of emission controls on cars. We were told to breathe deep and take it all in. That's the way it was and we liked it!!!

Seriously though, that may be the stupidest sign ever designed.

Car emissions won't do anything in small doses in the open air. I have breathed just about every fume known to creation and used to smoke cigs. My last Physical test in December I ran a 10:19 for the 1.5 mile run.

My lungs are just fine LOL.

My Favourite over here for about 3 years was coming in from Heathrow on the M4
the sign said 'This sign is no longer in use'.

Just noticed another of Marks 'signs of the times' driving a car to the school Gym Very Happy

I know it was before prehistory and wheels hadn't been invented but we use to walk
to school.

Someone on the school board has a side business. "Joes towing and jumpstart service",,we also do starters, batteries and alternators.

"it's biodiesel/reclaim oil fuel, so I am exempt from the sign". Kids love french fries.
