Queen bee.074 Head and complete needle valve

I have been able to get the needle already but still would like to get a head, I`m going to do a mod to the head as I will be trying to coax more power from the engine.

You could put in a Nelson or turbo plug in the TD .09 head but would only match what it was originally. The 1/4" - 32 plug will never match either of those options, even if you raise compression IMHO.

A Turbo plug head helps with the power and the TD .09 head (a direct drop-in) should also be an improvement of the stock regular plug. One can also trim down the outer diameter of the spray bar in the carb for a bit of extra rpm, but then the low end fuel-draw is also reduced with that mod.

Here is a short video of the Queen Bee with a Turbo plug, the top end power is quite good and comparable to the TT .07GP, for instance. The engine throttled better/nicer on a 6x4 prop but then engine would heat up an sag a little after prolonged full throttle runs.

I`m sorry I haven`t responded sooner but I had not noticed your posting. I had no luck finding one, I stopped working on the engine and started working on a reedy .049 and I`m still doing a little more work. I looked around here and ebay but the parts seem hard to find. I will patiently wait for something to show up. Thanks for asking.
