Blue Angels/Thunderbirds Fly Over

Blue Angels/Thunderbirds Fly Over
At about 1:55pm today, the Blue Angles and Thunderbirds are scheduled to make two passes over the skies of Philadelphia. I'm looking forward to it as I'm close to the flight path. Last year, 3 F-16's made a fly over of the football stadium in the afternoon. My son and I were about 12 miles north of the stadium at the time. We were both in the circle flying combat with our .25 sized planes. We fly directly next to a airport and the F-16's made a low pass approach circling right over top of us. The F-16 on the bottom rolled as he got over top of us and gave us the thumbs up. It was the coolest thing and we were both smiles ear to ear.

That is an awesome story and memory you have there. Esspecially since the pilot specifically acknowledged both of you on the ground.

At 2:15 they flew 2 blocks away heading west and circled. I was outside like a kid waiting for the ice cream man. It was just too cool to see them.
