Great setup, David, noise and goo are under control! I understand the muffler is not robbing too much power from the SPI engine?

Y use killer bee cylinder tapered uncut exaust port no spi tuned pipe ad lots of rpm Very Happy

Wating for Good température To film result wit modification and spécial part made for him instaled on second film vidéo y bet u bee surprise 😲 now m'y litle engine rev sound crazy wit pipe sound of asp wasp particular sound note hi rpm last test m'y tachometer cant get reading just chort blip of 25.000 and engine was slow

If you have an Android based smartphone, you can download the free "RPM Gauge" application from Google Play...exact same acoustically measured tach as with a the Hobbyco and similar tachometers...

M'y tablette is Amazon fire cannot download apli y have hangars 9 tools rpm tach need light and prop y was using is clear tornado 6x3 flex To mutch wil change for black one y have je 6x3

Shocked Litle test vide of the new setup

Not its best y have leak on the presure tube from exaust it was cold and y use 15% nitro y have no tach on hand m'y giving bad reading if somone can use sound and tach from the vidéo ? tink y wil try ad m'y hiden carb setup To se if y can get extra rpm

How does that Andoid tach app work? Does it have to be adjusted for 4 stroke, 2 stroke.number of cyls. etc? Will it work on car engines? What part of the phone do you point at what part of the engine? I could use something like that. My problem will be figureing out how to download and use an app. Never done it and I am tech impaired!

It works with microphone of mobil phone. No need to point microphone but need to be close to propeller. It can be adjusted on settings for two stroke. Here is app:

Thanks Levent...got app installed..set parameters. But it flashes numbers on screen with nothing running. Is that normal until engine runs? Or should it all be zeros?
Sorry for the highjack...but this caught my eye as usefull!

Number flashing is normal. Flashing stops while engine rpm reading.
