I'm currently restoring a Cox Sandblaster, I've found a source for the stickers, but I need the top and side rollbars, lights and flag. The fuel tank is not original will the 1 oz. tank on the Cox international website work. I have an extra set of front wheels and tires are ok but need a source for tires.

Hey Sandblaster, welcome to the forum!
In a nutshell, go to the search feature at
the top of the side bar on the left.
Type in "sandblaster" and click Google,
then hit "Go".
This is a good place to start.
Keep us posted on your progress.

I bought a lot of engines and the guy is throwing in a old Sandblaster. I have not seen it, but if I don't think it's restorable I will sell off the useable parts. It should be here by the weekend.

Sandblaster,  as a source for wheels and tires, I read recently on RCG that a guy used Tamyia Grasshopper tires on his Cox buggy.  I know you can still get brand new tires for the Grasshopper, so it might be advantageous to get a tire set for the Grasshopper.

Here's his thread on RCG.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1526773

And here's the listing for Grasshopper parts on Horizon Hobby.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?searchKeyword=tamiya+grasshopper&searchType=productgrid

You could also check eBay and Amazon for tires at a cheaper price.

The 'Hopper Mark

edit: I just looked at the pictures in the RCG thread. The guy put the tires on backwards for the paddle tires. The paddles should face the other way to get the best traction.

These are the part numbers he might be referring to. I got a set for my Cox Baja Bug.
Tamiya 9805033 and 9805034. I don't remember which one's are the rear and front tires.
