Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
Nice finds but that lasy one is not in its original box as it has a plain spraybar.
I would go for the 1st one or the 3rd one.

Up to 100 bucks in a box I Guess Jaspur.Jaspur_x wrote:I wold have thought by now you would have. What`s your price range and condition expectations? I will see what I can find for you
But now this has developed into a full blown obsession I want 2, ie I to use and 1 to look at
so would consider anything without a box as well. I've contacted 1 and 3 above to see if they'll play
ball with postage, I got hit last week with an automated ebay 35bucks for postage/don't really wanna
do that again....

Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
No not at the moment but I have been looking for one.
Are you looking for an engine for collection or because you want to fly a plane this size?
If you want an engine for a plane and have a decent budget you can get something good.

Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
Bugger, that's my DX6 trade idea out the window...................!
The sad truth is, I don't got nuffin to put any of this increasing pile of small engines into.
I've downloaded a plan for the stick and will chuck one together shortly but although
I started RC with 2 channel Rud/ele I'm not that keen to have something without the means
to slow it down till I get a little used this miniature stuff. Besides it was more than 30 years ago
he said making excuses.

Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
Or maybe something else would be good if you want something bigger the PAW engines are good.
always some around
On ebay and other places listings, seriously whats your condition of the engine you want and your price range?
like: used, good working order, all parts included etc and $60, $50,$40 it is possible to get for under 50, but much less is rare from what I have seen, but I`m also not watching with eagle eyes, I got mine for 50 in decent shape
I have seen incomplete "parts"engines go for $30, with already having a peewee as a piston/cylinder donor you got a good cheap engine, fill us in?

Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
here is some food for thought/
a new, unthrottled .049 goes for 20.00
a new, unthrottled .020 goes for 60.00
a new, unthrottled .010 goes for 150.00
ebay had 30-40 .049, 15 or so .020. i did not check the .010's. but only a few were used, most were the NIB people looking for profit. one was asking 200!

may I reccomend?
I would go for a teedee or peewee 020, throttle ring on that to help with your being 'rusty" is where I think you were going with that.
There are plenty of little kits available if your building skills are getting rusty, or you want an easier build. Might I recommend a lazercut kit, same price range and they practically "snap together" or should I say its a really fine precise kitthat normally is so easy to build mostly because the parts stay put while you are glueing.
You can litterally assemble the wing "snap together model" style (if you remember those plastic models of old) and then glue all the joints at once, I am totally spoiled! I just ordered 2 lazercut short kits ( updated littlest stick type) for $30 shipped!! If you are rusty this may not be the perfect plane to grease/remove the rust with;but thats how I`m going to do it, throttled peewee style , oh yeah!! (hence, I wanteed 2 kits lol)
Nitroairplane, did you notice how soft that G-mark 03 plastic tank/mount is? They melt fast/easy too ,be careful/cautious,the muffler (or a throttle ring) can vibrate itself around and touch the tank and thats all it takes!!! been there, learnt it

Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
I had the exhaust pointed at the fuel nipple then it just fell off!
I actually thing these tanks are made of wax!

As above Jaspur, condition from basket case to N.I.B. nib preferred.
Up to 100 bucks (ish).
I've got 3 010's, and 3 pee wee's already. 1 of both are NIB's non are throttled.

Re: Wanted Tee Dee 020
Got several NIB for sell!
This weekend I will fill my website with all the items I got. (+100 engines, airplanes and parts)
A tee dee .020 will cost € 79.99. Shipping to GB will take only couple of days. And because it is in europe, no import tax will be applied.
take a look sometimes on http://www.coxengines.eu. (Hope I can place this link here)
