I think I shrunk a couple cylinders.

I think I shrunk a couple cylinders.
So I got a couple 'bee engines off ebay. Gummed up and jammed. They were so gummy the crank was sealed in place too. After about 3 days in denatured alcohol I was getting impatient. So I heat the suckers up with a bit of hot air from the heat gun.
e
Everything comes apart just fine, heads come off, cylinder comes off without extra heating. I heated the head pretty hot till black gooieness came bubbling out of the threads. I, unthinkingly, dropped the cylinders back into the alcohol bath with a royal HISS.
Then I free the crank, bubbly blackness again. I get the piston off and pull the cylinders to fit the pistons back in. Well, they are TIGHT with PINCH unbelievable!
Did I shrink the cylinder?

Probably cooked the castor to a varnish. Take some 0000 steel wool to the inside of the cylinder and see if that helps.
