Decals Again

Decals Again
I'm sure that this has been covered before, but couldn't find a specific answer or review on this stuff. I was browsing around Hobby Lobby yesterday, and came across the Testors Decals that can be run on a printer.
There is a "Kit" for setting up the printer...11 bucks and change...and the actual decal material...another 11 bucks and change.
Have many of you used these, and how did they work for you?
I'm not exactly destitute financially, but chucking $25 dollars at an experiment without consulting with the artisans here seemed like a needless risk of cash. I'd sure love a shot at making up my own designs though.

Re: Decals Again
I have used this stuff along with the recommended spray sealer.

Took me a while and I ruined a few but I was trying to make them too big.
