Wanted WEN-MAC 1957 CHEVY

Post  TMANSTOYS Thu Jun 04, 2015 9:21 pm

I'm a new member that has just purchased a 1957 Chevy made by Wen Mac. One problem it has no engine. So I was hoping someone on the forum would have one for sale. I need the complete assembly. I have had Cox cars in the past but have taken the hobby once again. Please let me know if anyone can help.  Thanks

WEN-MAC 1957 CHEVY Wqqw4510

They show up on eBay often, couple months ago i noticed one being sold by a guy i knew, it brought about $200 so i posted one (like new/new) right away and it also brought close to $200, after i sold a couple more the price (demand) dropped down to $120, i think if you look and watch you might get on for a lot less or maybe a basket case with a serviceable engine. I was very suprised that these were bringing that kind of money, i always considered Wen-Mac kind of a "second tier" item compared to a Cox or Aurora toys.

Thanks. I did see a few on Ebay. The bracket and the tank seem to be a little harder to get. Keep me posted if you co.e across one.

Here is my thread with some pictures. At least you can see how the engine mounts.
