I was out and about today and saw a sign for an Estate Sale taped to a street sign.  I stopped in on the forlorn hope that some long lost Cox treassures might be found.  As usual, no joy.  But I did find this nifty little crock pot in the kitchen items.  For only $3.00 it seemed like just the thing to help clean up those really stubborn engines.  It’s just the right size to drop in three or four, or just one engine to cook in anti-freeze to clean up.  So, any recommendations for the best anti-freeze brand to cook the engines in?

If Y’all will excuse me, I’m gonna pop my Nexfilx copy of Thank God It’s Friday in the DVD player and do some engine sorting.

Just not the 50/50 or synthetic stuff.

I recently tried an anti freeze soak on a really gummed up engine, didn't work until I heated it in a toaster oven. It will probably work fine in that crock pot though. Give it a try and let us know.

I tried heated Simple Green, worked on the Cox engines but turned the engines of Wen Mac and other front rotary engines black.

Agreed, use pure AF, no water, ethylene glycol; the old green stuff. It is poison! Keep away from kids and pets.
