Hi, thanks for your comment. It is possible, but the idea is to share a method that whoever has no way to get an original spare can manufacture it himself. It is a humble contribution. Greetings, thanks, Mauricio.-

Another excellent video - it takes a lot of work to put something like this together.
Background music - text - stills - video and sound. You and Jose are well up on this one - I have trouble maintaining the patience to edit video.
Music - I get easily sidetracked

Nice work. But I had to laugh at that digital tach. +/-10rpm resolution, but varies from 8000 to 30000rpm while engine rpm stays virtually constant! A good case for an analogue tach.

Hello !, thanks! ..... It is true, requires a little patience to make a video, and often is not as one would like to present and have to start over. But somehow more or less quality one can share and we can all learn from each other!
A hug, Mauricio .-

Hi, thanks for your message !.
Actually it is not a problem tachometer, but a misapplication of me, I will try to explain, I find myself in the workshop that has artificial lighting and simultaneously provide natural light through the window and therefore the tachometer that works perfectly with natural light (sunlight) commits read errors.
I really should not have used the tacometro inside the room to avoid this mistake, but I repeat, it is not a problem tachometer, but misuse for my part, I apologize.
Greetings, Mauricio.-

Re: VIDEO: Cox 010, artisanal replacement backplate part
With the metal back plate the seal is good rpm readings with the Cox Grey 3x1.25 prop 27,131 rpm
I was able to get a solid reading with my audio app. Best peak was 27,293 rpm.
These are real good readings, attributes from the metal back plate. The plastic ones are prone to
heat up and then leak loosing some venturi suction.

Hello !, here I am on the connected PC and just read your message. It's very interesting what you mention, so the metal remains the most constant rpm !, great!
What is your name? thanks !, greetings, Mauricio.-
