Nice, I've never seen a .15 before.
It's good that it doesn't have the instruction papers because THEY'RE WRONG. At least the 1/2A ones from NV Engines are. Good catch Ian, hope we get to see it running.

The engine's 4,000 mile journey has begun!
It will certainly be well travelled - Russia to USA to UK

I finally landed one of those last year. It is set up for pressure and sports an obnoxiously large venturi.
I'll have to find a stock NVA and venturi for it.
Hope it arrives safely!

Re: NIB NORVEL .15 W/MUFFLER/MOUNT $75.00
Two versions of this engine was made, Big Mig and AME. This appears to be the Big Mig as it looks to be a bushed crankshaft. The AME had the different porting as well as ball bearings. Both engines run very well. The head insert that screws into the cylinder is susceptible to leaking around the threads and where it mates. I use a thin film of Permatex and it cures this as it can cause hard starting. The wrench is a must and was not a stock item with the engine at least not with the C/L versions. Ken
If I may add a recommendation. The prop shafts were hardened too hard on these engines. They just snap off and they're actually in my opinion rather small. Find yourself a stud and replace it. I used these for combat and when a prop strike occurred with the ground and or opponents plane, you lost the entire front end. I mean drive washer, nut, shim. My solution to this due to the D drive shaft was to drill and tap a set screw through the drive washer and lock onto the crankshaft. This prevented the drive washer and shim from being lost.

Hopefully it'll come right back to Eric and he can clarify whatever is wrong with the address.

Eric sent me the receipts when he posted it.
The address is perfectly correct - UNITED KINGDOM - in clear letters. There is no fault there at all - this is fairly and squarely with USPS and some one keying the details into their tracking/delivery system.
It is, though, very rare that anything like this happens. This is the first time I have seen this,
When I get a tracking number - I enter it into Royal Mail tracking as USPS register the destination and tracking number with them. This time I got the message "Please come back later" - never seen that one before. Normally, I would see acceptance of the package at the Post Office and then the parcels journey from pillar to post.
I once had one that did a Grand USA tour before finally making it onto a plane to London!
Don't worry Eric - these things happen and I am laid back about the whole thing.

Hi Eric,
I am not worried about it - these things happen and it will turn up eventually. It is just that don't have the tracking we paid for.
I quite like watching the progress of the packages across the USA and then the delay with Her Majesty's Customs and Excise followed by the Royal Mail shenanigans.

Re: NIB NORVEL .15 W/MUFFLER/MOUNT $75.00
Thank you Eric.
The package was delivered and left in my porch sometime last week. I picked it up when I arrived home late on Sunday night from the North.
It had been delivered without tracking or requiring a signature and so no customs duty or delivery charges. It only took 10 -14 days to get here as well.
Thanks again.

Re: NIB NORVEL .15 W/MUFFLER/MOUNT $75.00
I bought an engine once from the U.S. that was first shipped around three states, then went to Warsaw Poland, back to Chicago, back to Warsaw again, back to Chicago again, then went off the radar for about three weeks and arrived unannounced. Sometimes tracking works, somtimes it sucks, along with the geographical skills of some USPS workers.
