Caveat emptor re: advertised Veco .19
As a contributing and long-time forum member I believe it my duty to inform you that the Veco .19 adverstised here has several "mysteries" aside from the misplaced cylinder head.
I have been in correspondense with the owner in The Netherlands an have withdrawn any interest that I once had in the Veco .19.
I'll provide of my concerns in a PM if you wish.

Nitro:Since I don't want to appear to "smear" the seller I decline. Let's just say that the engine has lots of problems.

Would you sooner NOT have me post the warning thread? I thought I was doing the forum a favor.

I don't know since you did not post the reason.
If you tell someone not to buy from a shop but don't give a reason either they will buy and suffer or will not and the damage is done to the shop owner anyway so may as well give a reason.
