Sorta Sterling BRM
Hi All,
Please help with a decision. I have been working on a BRM from tracings I found on OZ and HPA.
Now that I'm close to final assembly, I wanted hard numbers on bellcrank assembly and engine mount details.
Today I found a copy of Pat King's BRM clone. I hope he chose to up-size the wing...or I blew printing the original patterns. His root chord is five inches, while mine is four inches.
This kit is going to a boy at church...so it really needs to be able to stay in the air, and land with durability in mind.
What is the root chord on the original BRM?
Should I make a new wing?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide...I'm all ears (well, eyes).

Big THANKS to Chancey.
It turns out I cut my wood based on his BRM templates. I lost the ones I used for patterns. He generously supplied his copies, and they confirm that I'm on the right track with this bird.
Completed pics with new owner will follow soon!
