If you can add something to cart and go through checkout and pay, then the order is confirmed (stock is automatically adjusted by cart software) and, yes, your order is here and shall ship today
Thanks!
Re: Aluminium fuel tanks for Cox Tee Dee .010 & .020
Alright, there will be a small quantity of red 010 and 020 fuel tanks and carb bodies on the way to us shortly (maybe even some silver ones available, depending on the reply of someone who was interested in all the silver ones we have coming).
If anyone wants any of the parts reserved for them please email us at support@coxengines.com with size(s), item(s) and quantity and we will put your name on them. It may be several months before we get any more after that.

Re: Aluminium fuel tanks for Cox Tee Dee .010 & .020
As a way to observe each other, could someone place a Tee Dee .020 with its original tank and next to another Tee Dee .020 with the new tank ?, that way I can take better references.
Thank you

Nice thing about this newer carb body is that it has the anchor pin for the starter spring.

Hello Kim, thanks for taking the time for the photos.
There they can be appreciated directly.
Some additional information to keep in mind would be:
1) How much a TD .020 weighs with an original tank compared to the new tank.
2) what load capacity one has compared to the other.
At first glance, I will be very sincere in my personal taste, I highlight the place for the anchor bolts or anchor to the F1 in the original design, which does not protrude from the tank. Important when placing it in a small model.

Mauricio,
The tank specs can be found on the listings:
https://coxengines.ca/cox-.010-alu-fuel-tank-red.html
https://coxengines.ca/cox-.020-alu-fuel-tank-red.html
The tanks weigh 3 gr (for 010) and 4 gr (for 020) more than the OEM tanks

1/2A Nut, not sure what you mean.
We put them back on the scale and the 010 weighs 7gr and the 020 weighs 11gr, which is how we have them listed (added 1gr to the 020 listing) and the listings do mention that this does not include the screws. As the OEM tanks also require similar screws, they are a wash when it comes to weight.

We do sell the 1oz tanks and they are exceptionally easy to assemble: https://coxengines.ca/1oz-fuel-tank-for-cox-engine-round.html

I was referencing this post Bernie after looking at it again I see (more than the OEM)
Pardon me my bad
GallopingGhostler the 1/3rd oz gets 7-8 mins at high rpms with the TD .010
The 1/2 oz gets about the same in scream mode with a TD .020.
PM me if you need a certain size.

That's when I think in German but write in English Re-reading it I see that it's easy to miss the "more" part.

Re: Aluminium fuel tanks for Cox Tee Dee .010 & .020
Lol Bernie, I was on my lunch break and had to rush some quick pics so was not paying attention no doubt!
Tonight I have made time to assemble the TD .010. Careful effort must be made to set up the
new carb body and fuel tank using oil on the seals /threads.
I have not leak tested it yet, will do so when ready to bench test the set up.

Excuse the dumb question, but can these tanks be made to work on control line application?. Looks like free flight / R/C upright operation only.

Looks like you could rotate the tank to it's side and plug one on the filler holes once it was full...

CL's in close quarters stunting have a tendency to hit the terra firma harder than RC (unless in a deep dive). You could, but the tank was pricey enough and hard to get replaced that I'd be skeptical to use mine for CL.
