Re: Engine display stand.....
The stands look great! You could also use them as test stands. Re-mount the engine on the backside and clamp the base to a table.

Mount looks good man ! I need to do something for some of my prestige engines . That is a good idea Rene, to double for a test stand .

Thank you Eric, they’re pretty easy to put together if you can cut straight lines, then just used some 240-400-600 sandpaper’s to get it really smooth, overkill I know lol.

Nice looking stands!
Did you just glue the vertical piece on or use a dowel or a screw also? I’ve been thinking about something like those for my ”collection pieces”, maybe even with small engraved name tags I just don’t have a place to display them yet, at least not all of them. Maybe I should just pick half dozen favourites, or maybe even rotate them
I see you like used engines, those are my favourites too. I like to tinker, clean up and polish things, and these little gems are great little projects that you can complete in an evening or two

Re: Engine display stand.....
Thank you for the kind words everyone!!
They are glued (I used a brand called liquid nails) and there’s 2 nails in each to hold them for strength. I don’t think the nails would be necessary as the glue I use it rediculously strong but I put them in just in case.
Yes I love used engines, something about the journey they’ve been on but still live after all this time.
