Well, I flipped and I flipped...and the one time the engine started coming up to speed the prop bit me. Wow, a .15 Medallion has some teeth! Good thing I have a wooden high pitch prop, or I'd be missing a pinky.

So I'm officially DNF, well, Did Not Start let alone finish.

Plagued by a poorly designed fuel system, the plane managed to squeak the wheels on the dolly for 1/3 lap before the engine cut off again. I wasn't going to waste a rocket motor just off the fireworks.

I will try again this weekend, weather permitting. So my hat is off to the ones that did complete the competition, in time and in the air. Congrats all!
