What Makes a BW more powerful then a BB ?
I Just received my 1st Black Widow in the Mail.(Actually 3) After rebuilding one and running it I was surprised How Much More Power It Has Then A Babe Bee. Could Someone explain this to Me ? Thanks

I believe it all has to do with the porting. Beyond this, I will have to also wait for someone with more experience. As well, I believe that the later Black Widows also had a boost port as well. Mine is not here, so cannot check at the moment.

BW-s were built exclusively with No 1 cylinder that has 2 bypass ports and sub piston induction whereas most BB-s had No 2 cylinder with only 1 bypass. In addition their venturi also has larger diameter than BB-s. I think these are the main differences thst make BW-s more powerful than BB-s.
I have a well used 1st generation BW in excellent condition and 2 others made in the late 1980-s but none of them has booster flutes. The piston-cylinder fit of these later, brand new BW-s is good but sloppier than the old, used one.
