Incase the news hasn't made the rounds fully, Stan of vintage performance model airplanes is now selling a some what newly manufatured "zipper" teedee and reed valve "zipper" hornet 0.049.  

They sold out fast! But he likley has the next lot on they way

I've built a few of Stan's planes when they first kicked off their kit making.  The wood is excellent, true, and incorporates a fresh revision to several classic controlline planes. The best part is no wing spare le te splices!!!
