Re: Anybody up for a "Stik" build off?
me and my overly logical mind ask the question of who defines a 'stick' build? if its a premade desigh, then a date a publication must be given. or ifs mearly a 'stick' style aircraft then the criteria is basicly subjective and based upon the democratic descion of the virtual public.
personally, im gonna take a Lastick, then modify the *^%@^**$#$%@! out of it and see waht happens.

I am in, just downloaded and printed " MatchStick " from Who is Building thread.
Should be an easy quick build and I have a TD 0.020 on hand. John

Matchstick!!!
The plan is over on the " Who is Building" thread. One of the four plans listed
on one of the posts.
Or you can do a search on www.outerzone.co.uk
Tip for the computer challenged people like myself.
Use latest free version of Adobe reader to print and tile plans and
go to edit function click Snap Shot. This allows you to highlight part
of the plan. eg wing. click landscape and print and tile wing.
Apologies to you computer wizards. John

Re: Anybody up for a "Stik" build off?
Just finished covering and gluing my Ace RC Pocket Rocket. I picked up wood for the Match Stik. Now I need to get ink for the printer so I can print the plans.
P.S I still need to cover the wing. It is made of foam so my father is going to do that.

Re:Anyone for a Stick build off
Started cutting bits for my Match Stick, some of ribs are going to
be 3mm Depron , couldn't bear to use all my nice C grain balsa.
Parts are next to my mystery ship which is also progressing nicely.

Well I built my MatchStic, Weighs 4.46oz complete without battery but needs
heavier than usual 300mah nicad plus a tad of lead bringing it to 5.9oz to
get correct cg using my new TD 0.010.
Planning to add an undercarriage/ propsaver to reduce lead and perhaps a mount
to move TD forward.
