Cox extreme
I already bought 3 of them, #009, #088 & #099. I think the engraving of numbers should be better.

I'm chuckling about the vanity of having personalized engines but if the market supports it, why not?
Most of these engines will never see the light of day much less be put to use.

#66 is available as of this post and, John, if you want to be a "little devil", you'll have to add the extra "6" yourself

The crankcases are hand-engraved by our local jeweller. He did mention that they are very difficult to engrave as the odd-shaped crankcase is difficult to adapt the tooling to.
That aside, I concur but am afraid the engraving is not going to get any better in this town. The upside being that they are indeed lovingly hand-engraved and not stamped by a robot - unique-they-are

Re: Introducing the new Cox International "Xtreme" engine
Well, I finaly got #64 running. Had a problen with mounting it to my plywood "test stand" and getting it running. Turns out you can not flush mount it as it gets no air. Thought the channel on the back was for air flow but the ven. sticks out the same amount as back plate So I drilled a hole in plywood and made a chanel for air flow; and wala Ran about 8 tanks rich 25%sig and let tank 9 run all out. Don't have a tac, but it was screamin Then I filled the tank with 35% sig and fired it up. When that 35% hit the head, it was mega screamin Plan on having it mounted to the pitts and airborn this weekend. Thanks!!
