Saturday AND Sunday Flying! An"Olympic B.O.T." and Patrick's First Loop!
The B.O.T gets dragged into the Southern Illinois skies, this time with a Cox .15 Olympic doing the dragging.
Breaking from my common-sense rule of NEVER mounting gadgets to movable (and critical) control surfaces, my tortured little key-fob camera finds it's self scotch-taped to the Bird's elevator!
All went well in spite of my Redneck engineering...
Also, on Sunday, Patrick accomplished his first successful loop while flying his Sig Dewey Bird !

You playing in my backyard again
How did the 15 work on the BOT? I've got one now, just need to make a mount.

Haha, tell Patrick, good work. I love that borderline insane look I see so often on old hippies.

OK --- now that's showin' out flying a polyhedral glider inverted!!!
The old BOT must be pretty stout to get horsed around like that.

Well, you know how I crave attention !!! I half expected a high speed flutter each time I dove it between those trees, but the old dog must have some good engineering in it's pedigree !
So far, that long wing has tolerated my assorted high-jinx stunts!

It's great...it'll scare you in level flight...the thing just keeps on accelerating ! Let me know if you need more photos of the pod !
