A little nostalgia for you old f**ts
For some of you old guys, here's a little music, cars and 60's combat from your youth. Be sure to put your ears on. I think I saw Kim in one of the videos.

The east coast New Jersey combat pilots will have a similar version on Sept 8th. I'm looking forward to it myself. Having several vintage planes, I built them to fly them. My son and I should be going head to head with some modern engines on vintage planes. I can't wait. Ken

Ken Burdick put this on last year in Canada. He's a friend of mine that just moved up there. He's big into speed and racing, but loves his combat with the old planes. He wanted something to fly the old planes and engines (diesel only I think), still building nice planes with the plan to come home with a plane not in a bag.

Re: A little nostalgia for you old f**ts
Thanks Andrew that was fun
I would love to fly and pit and officiate a combat match that had "my kind of music" always at 100+ db in the background
I guess in a contest I would not be allowed to have Born to be Wild in my ear buds for some safety reason .... but for fun flying and practice I think I will give it a shot
Be fun to make a plane dance around the circle to Ina Gada Da Vida or Rare Earth Get Ready.... lets see can I keep from getting too dizzy for 17 minuets.....grin

Cool videos Andrew. I really like the music. Walk Don't Run and Wipeout are some of my favorite tunes. There is just something really neat about those old instrumental guitar songs with all that groovy reverb and warmth of those old tube amps. Also, the Buddy Holly songs were great and I really enjoyed hearing Wolfman Jack.
By the way, I'm not an old f%^t!
I'm only 40 years young!

Ya got me --- but, I guess by deduction, I wouldn't have mentioned the music unless I had spent some time dancing to it.

I still like the 60's and 70's much, much better than the stuff the kids listen to today --- some of the new music sounds like a trackhoe digging rock.
Re: A little nostalgia for you old f**ts
I grew up listening to 50's, 60's and 70's music and am getting my kids into it. As far as today's stuff goes, I don't even call it music, I call it Tylenol Noise because all it does is give me headaches.andrew wrote:RknRusty wrote:
