TeeDee 09 Prop Screw
Hi guys, anyone know where I can buy a two and a half long inch prop screw 6-32 for a TD 09. The model I'm building requires an extra long spinner. 6-32unc is not available that long here in the U.K.
There appears to be loads available in the USA on EBay, but unfortunately when I asked them to split a packet and send me two to the UK, although they coulds keep the remainder I got no reply.
If any of you guys could help I'd be very greatful.
Cheers.

A tough find in the METRIC UK.
Try one of our vendors here in the US or Canada.

Re: TeeDee 09 Prop Screw
Most spinners do not need a screw that long and are split into two parts.
A backplate that goes behid the propeller and the front shroud that wraps around the propeller and is usually fastened independently to the backplate using two screws.
UNC and UNF screws have always been impossible to get in the UK but taps and dies are available from Tracy Tools.
Are you constructing the spinner yourself?

Re: TeeDee 09 Prop Screw
Yes I've turned one on my piller drill to keep the shape right. It's 1-1/2 ins long. I'm building a controline Kamakazi Doodlebug. From a 1984 Aeromodeller. I didn't realise any were ever made. Its been an interesting project for my newly aquired TeeDee 09. The article says it flys as like a good trainer. I've even found an interesting but simple colour scheme to use, see picture. It's been fun to build.
Mike.
Sorry I've got to re-learn how to post pics, I seem to have forgotten. Guess What now re-trained
