***SIGH***
Went out to the churchyard again today to try to fly. Still too windy. The past few days it's been really gusting. Drat! Ah, well. That just means I'm that much farther along on my next design. Still, it'd be nice to get SOMEthing in the air...

Don't feel bad. Every time I have a new plane I want to fly, the weather always sucks!! It either rains or it's too windy!batjac wrote:Went out to the churchyard again today to try to fly. I got a new Flite Streak a couple years ago and when I made plans for the maiden, it constantly rained for over a week! Then it was windy for several days after! It was almost a month before I was finally able to fly it!
It was even worse when I lived in Florida. It was always windy or rainy. Especially during the Summer. One minute it would be nice sunny and calm and the next minute it would downpour! Which happened to me several times when I tried to maiden a new plane.
One of the worse times was when I had planned to maiden some new foamies but we ended up getting hit by Hurricane Charlie! LOL

Hey Mark, take solace that you didn't chance the wind,
and turn a perfectly good plane into a kit. The wait'll
make the reward sweeter.(what?)

Errrmmmm... You might want to look at my post in the Official ICPT19FIIYGI Day thread before you say that.
