Can some one post a picture or point me in the right direction of what a fine thread NV looks like?

Travis, here is a comparison of the threads.. side by side. Left is coarse (80 tpi) and right is fine (128 tpi). These are both for reed valve engines. I don't have any Tee Dee's.

The fine-thread needle is Cox #1939.. which does NOT fit a 290 (postage-stamp) back-plate.

So a postage stamp is a fine thread? I was thinking it was.

How rare is an Aluminum Fine Thread NV? I think I have one...

I've got two "postage-stamp" back-plates.. and the needles are mixed up. The needles have different length tapers.. but are both fine-thread. The back-plates have slightly different NVA's (fuel-nipple length and O/A length) Should I assume that the longer tapered needle fits the back-plate with the longer nipple? This would seem correct.. Huh...
