Homestead Air Reserve Base airshow
This weekend was the first airshow since sequestration cuts stopped the show. I'm so close to the base some of it comes over my house.
Can anyone ID this group? Came over me at about 400 ft. One looked like it could have been painted with the rising sun.
It was hard to look with the camera in my face.

Can't help you there, I can say we had a team down there a couple weeks back as an f-16 plowed through the Localizer. I'll have to get a trip down there so we can hang out.

That would be cool but I won't be here much longer. I started on SS at 62 and when my wife hits 62 she's going on SS and I'm going to move to a small town in northern Georgia, maybe Blairsville.
I thought about over Rustys way but he floods too much. Need to find a slower pace, things are too hectic here anymore.

The three bringing up the rear are painted green on the aft fuse and look to be carrying something under the fuse.

Thanks for posting that link.
I was half right, the AT-6 Texan is the Air Force version of the SNJ. A google search shows that there are no original Kates left in flying condition, but one is undergoing a restoration. Replicas were made by stretching the fuselage of SNJ's/Texans.
