Good News, Bad News
I just read over on the RCG Sailplanes Forum that Ray Hayes has acquired the rights to all Airtronics designs. He has been producing full and short kits of a few of the original Airtronics sailplanes. Now he has the rights to all of the planes. He says he’s going to be putting the Q-Tee into production as the first non-sailplane design he makes. That’s good news. But, he also says he’s going to send a "cease and desist” to the plans sharing sites (like Outerzone) for all of the Airtronics designs. I already built my Q-Tee, and have plans for S-Tee, and a couple of the sailplanes, although I don’t see building another sailplane in my lifetime.
But I might just order a Q-Tee kit from him when he gets that line up and running. Just to keep the Airtronics designs alive.
