Red Bull Air Race in Budapest July 1-2 2017

Post  balogh on Sat Jul 01, 2017 12:17 pm

I went to downtown Budapest today to watch the warming-up session of Red Bull Air Race competitors over river Danube (that splits our capital into Buda and Pest). A magnificent event with lots of beautiful planes doing hair-raising aerobatics over the river, flying under the oldest stone bridge "Chain Bridge", lots of loops, wing-overs, spins.

I shot a few vids with my smartphone but the one below, already on youtube, is much more enjoyable.

Needless to say that when I hit home I jumped on my small Honda and rode to the field with my Lil'Roughneck R/C plane (powered by a 049  TeeDeeReedie) tucked disassembled in my backpack, and flew the heck out of it!!!
