Fun with T-Shirt Transfers !
So, what do you do if you've got some nervous energy, but are too lazy to crank up the air in the shop and actually do some work? Well, you stay in your cool house and make T-Shirt Transfers of course!
Walmart sells Avery Brand Transfer Sheets that are run through your printer to make iron-on designs for T-Shirts. There are two basic types that can be used on light or dark colored fabric, but I lean toward those for light fabric, as the ones for dark T-Shirts are kind of a thick "decal" that doesn't (for me) stand up well to washing.
Either way, it's REAL important to always turn the shirts inside-out before chucking them in a wash machine.
I tried a Light Fabric transfer on one of my "Cox Powered" gray T's and while it's a bit dim, thought it wasn't too bad.
I use the "Paint" program that's included with most PC's (no way I'm shelling out the bucks for Photo-Shop!) to add lettering and "clean up" some images that might have had a spot or stain on the original scan.
So here's your chance to "Dress for Success" in the upcoming "Fly-It-If-You-Got-It" event...or anything else that may be coming along!

Please be aware that there is a graphics program very similar in features and power to Photo-Shop that is free for the download.
It is called GIMP, GNU Image Manipulation Program, it is free, open-source software. Originally for Unix-type systems, it also has a version for Windows.
GIMP has more features than I know what to do with! May take a bit to get good with it but for the simple things that I may need to do only minimal time investment was necessary.
You may obtain it here:
https://www.gimp.org/
There are also tutorials available. And the price is right -- FREE!

Yo Kim --
Still upright and taking nourishment. I still drop by frequently to see what's going on, but haven't had much to add. I plan to be at the PAM flyin in the morning, then head down to the Discovery Park in Union City, TN for a full scale airshow late Saturday afternoon. It's small, but the price is right and it's pure small town Americana.
Still lovin' your On the Ramp series.

Kim, that turned out really nice.
