Eric, I have a project on the board, but it's off topic for this forum.
SIG King Kobra, 60 size RC with retracts. Been tinkering on it for a while, I set it aside to do the TD-3 and Miss Ashley.
Bob, that's a nice looking P-38 wing. Yes, profile gives up some in the looks department, but speeds up building a lot. Also solves the canopy problem.

Also solves the canopy problem.
Good thought. I was very lucky 50 + years ago to find a suitable canopy for my original.
Also the wing is built to scale, not for serious flight. I took the dimentions right off factory diagrams. Suits me, I was happy then and now for just round-d-rounds.
Eager to see that SIG King Kobra. Retracts are neat and add so much to reality. What power?

Agreed, the scale outline is what I like most about your P-38 wing. Not at all like the cartoonish appearance of the Sterling kit wing. What is the span/area?
Power for the King Kobra will be a OS .60 FSR. I wasn't going to post pics here, figuring it would hold little interest for the folks on CEF.

You're kidding Duane, for me running a .60 once is like running any 1/2A engine ten times on the thrill meter. Some here may or may not agree. I have Enya's than can make the windows shake. Off topic if you must, but yes, please share. Heck, I'm boring some to tears with my Cox chainsaw posts. Bigger than a .60 I might add and I can't wait until I get one running.

You read my mind. I really like Sterling kits but when I saw that I asked...........Is that a P-38 or a wing with booms? But, will it out fly my scale model. You betsha.
