Looking for new: .049 Mcoy glowhead
Hello all,
A friend of mine is looking for a new glow head for his .049 mccoy engine. I have no experience with MCCoy engines and dont know where en what to look for.
Does someone got any tips?

The plugs your in search of are in fact somewhat hard to find.Another concern I would have is your location of the world. If the plugs are difficult to find here, I would think your going to have an even tougher time finding them. They've been out of production for a long time. I do see them showing up from time to time typically on Ebay, they do tend to bring a fairly high dollar amount. Mecoa has made plug adapters for use in this and other engines. http://www.mecoa.com/acc/adaptors/index.htm The main problem with using a standard plug is the power loss. Not that the Mccoy was a powerhouse, just understand that there will be a drop in power due to the area within the glow plug is reducing the compression. Ken
